Handmade in Huddersfield

Light, poured from
reclaimed glass.

Every Lambere lamp starts life as a discarded glass block — cleaned, fitted with a 3D-printed base and colour-changing LEDs, and given a second life as the centrepiece of a room.

The collection

Three grades, one glow.

Every block is reclaimed, so no two lamps are quite the same. We grade by condition, not quality — the light is identical whichever you choose.

Flawless glass, clean edges

Grade A — Perfect

Our finest reclaimed blocks — no visible chips or marks. Each one is hand-picked, cleaned, and fitted with a 3D-printed base and colour-changing LED core. The premium choice for a statement piece.

  • Blemish-free reclaimed glass block
  • 3D-printed walnut-finish base
  • Colour-changing LED, remote included
  • Handmade to order in Huddersfield

Small marks, full charm

Grade B — Character

Blocks with light surface marks or a small chip — barely noticeable once lit, and proof every lamp is genuinely reclaimed rather than mass-produced. Same build quality as Grade A.

  • Lightly marked reclaimed glass block
  • 3D-printed walnut-finish base
  • Colour-changing LED, remote included
  • Handmade to order in Huddersfield

Bigger marks, best value

Grade C — Rescued

More heavily marked blocks that still glow beautifully once the LEDs are on. The budget-friendly way into a Lambere lamp — and every one sold keeps a block out of landfill.

Our story

From skip to sideboard.

Lambere started with a pile of used glass blocks that were headed for landfill. Instead, each one gets cleaned, checked, and paired with a 3D-printed base and warm, colour-changing LEDs — turning something discarded into the calmest light in the room.

Every lamp is made to order in Huddersfield, by hand, one block at a time. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be bought — when you order, we build.

Why "Lambere"?

From the Latin lambere — to lick or flicker with soft light. It's the word behind "lambent," the gentle glow you get from a candle, or a Lambere lamp.

Good to know

A few questions

How long does delivery take?

Every lamp is made to order — allow 5-7 working days before dispatch, then 2-3 days for UK delivery.

Do grades affect how the lamp lights up?

No — the LED and base are identical across all three grades. Only the glass block's surface condition differs.
